Scott has worked with various performing arts groups since 2011 and has been teaching private lessons since 2014. A California native, Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo in 2011 and a Master of Music in Instrumental Performance from Bowling Green State University in Ohio in 2017. As a performer, he touts a literal binder full of experience (some 200+ performances so far!) with a variety of groups and organizations, including concert bands, orchestras, drum and bugle corps., and even a few rock bands here and there. His music tastes range from the traditional to the surreal, but his absolute favorite is music with character, funk and groove; the fun stuff that makes you dance!
